FBX — proprietary. With all the implications — Godot works quite well with it, but there could potentially be problems. The most advanced of those listed.
OBJ — outdated, limited.
ZTL — needs a paid program.
glTF — Missing.

"Free programs" and "Free software for content creation" are slightly different things. Although the latter is part of the former. Here I wanted to talk about programs I've worked with that are undeservedly rarely mentioned.

I guess a list of free programs would be useful, but it would be huge and it needs to be systematized somehow.

Not adding ocenaudio to music is a crime. 😡

Well maybe someone starting journey from godot and then discovering blender and other things.. It doesnt hurt to repeat yourself.

I listed them because its what i use, this helps me to create content. Without these, for me atleast it would be a hassle. Ofc its indirectly helps to create content.

MakeHuman 1.3.0 released

These are the release notes for 1.3.0, which was released 2023-04-28.

General

The main selling points of this release are a set of body shapes by Elvaerwyn and a series of bug fixes for making MakeHuman work with windows 11 and newer linux releases. If you already use a nightly build which works for you and which has the body shapes, there is no reason to switch to the release build.

FREE!ship is a surface modeling program for designing ships yachts and boats. Subdivision surfaces are used rather than NURBS to give the designer the freedom to design ANY desired hullshape. Unfold surfaces, panel based hydrostatics, various exp formats

If you want to make something like a realistic ship, you can use this program. Although the program is old and the developers' website is no longer active, it runs on Windows 11.

It seems to be a continuation of the development.
