Why is it I can get the material setup just right in the Godot editor but when I run the game the textures dont have the metal look to them, they are just flat.

Do you have a World Environment node? The reflections usually need a World Environment to look correct (with the sky panorama texture). I also found that you might need a normal map texture, even if the polygon is flat. You can create this in GIMP, there is a normal map filter. Just make a white image like 128x128 and use the normal map filter. You can also add noise first, if you want some texture.
Normal map did the trick ! They are shinny now.. I need some sunglasses ! lol..

looking at that detailed sword i bet flat textures woulde make it look even cooler
