Standard Testing Protocol

I was wondering if Unit Testing is a structure widely used to test game functionality in Godot, or if there are other preferred methods for testing for bugs and maintaining overall quality for projects.

I've honestly never messed with unit testing, but I have read about it in books and it seems very worthwhile.

Awesome, asserts should be sufficient for my projects! Most unit testing I have done used a lot of asserts as well, so that is good to hear.

Overall, unit testing works great for building incremental confidence with your code and allows you to add new features without fearing about breaking old ones.
