Hey Everyone!

Tap Knight is a mobile game available for iOS and Android. It's a tapper game with idle qualities. This is still a demo, and would love feedback wherever possible. We have a discord which can be found in-game, but i'll list the links below! Join us if you have any questions or feedback. (or PM me on here!)

This update polishes a few things, fixes some bugs, and implements some tutorial slides.

I really would prefer not to explain too much about the gameplay to see if they are enough or need some more work. My brother and I are excited to share this with you!

Happy hunting :)

INTRO Dramatic music The game stars Mr. Tap Knight. He lives in a world where all other civilized creatures have decided to turn on the human race. Tap Knight is the last hope of humanity. Aided by an unseen power that allows him to push through the longest battles. This power can be heard by those around Tap Knight in the battlefield. It has been described as a "tapping" sound.

Follow Tap Knight on his journey to defeat all the forces that threaten the human race. Take on the Slime Queen, Orc Chieftain, Undead Warlock, and many more.

Remember to pack some health potions and some bombs to deal area damage at the oncoming forces you'll face in this game. Collect gold and "Tapnite" a mineral with incredible properties. It can create the most rigid metals while also being malleable. Use gold to pay for supplies and services that can upgrade your sword and bombs. With some Tapnite supplied by you, of course.

Now go and help Tap Knight save the human race!

So, I tested you game! It is very cool and polished! Did you make it on Godot?

So let's go to the negative things about your game. I personally found out it is better to level up forever in the first phase. It is the easiest way to level up, it is not difficult until you reach level 3 or so, I literally did it because after finishing up the first phase, I felt the second phase a too harder, I decided to try to level up in the first phase, and I discovered the amount of XP that the slimes gives is very high, 5 seems to be low, but actually I managed to climb to level 10 in like... 5 minutes playing the game at the first phase. I think you could make the XP given by slimes decrease as you level up e.g.: at level 1 the slimes will give you 5 xp. At level 5 they will give you 1 XP At level 10 they will give you 0.5 XP. This will encourage the player to play further phases.

Also I personally think it would be cool after 100 enemies or so, instead of spawning a common enemy, spawning a stronger variant, as a boss, a bigger version with more health and damage. I really think it would be a lot cooler. Also being required to kill this "boss" creature to unlock the next phase woul be cool.

Another thing, I really don't the way I'm obligated to see all the tutorial and I'm unnable to skip it by clicking the "X" button because it is unnavailable until I reach the end of the tutorial. Personally I don't like it.

That's all.

Your game is really good, this things don't make it bad, or unpleasent to play. You game is very cool, very cool concept, very cool art-style, very cool mechanics.

Looking forward for new updates :)

@Shoyguer Awesome! My brother is the artist, and yes, we are making the game with Godot. Moved from Unity and have never looked back. <3

Yes, it is definitely possible to stay in the first level just leveling up as much as you want. We decided to give the player that freedom similar to any other MMO. The difference here is that you are right, i think you still level up pretty quickly with them. I like your idea to decrease the experience after x amount of levels depending on the monster.

So after the first 4 levels of each "area", there is a boss. We were trying to keep the bosses for the last level only. It may be tricky to make a stronger variant since once you complete a level, the next level may be too difficult for some, and may need to come back to the easier level to grind out for more exp, money for resources or upgrades. My fear would be that there some users may get stuck. (Though i think in your suggestion, if you do come back to a level, the easy variant would get spawned up until the 100th kill count)

Ah yes, the tutorial. That's fair.. i can remove that. Only reason i did that is because this is our second test run, and there were a surprising amount of people who asked for more hand holding... so we made those slides :) You can just skip through it without reading.

I'm noting everything and will keep a list of notes to consider, and in a couple of days we will go through everything we got and thoroughly discuss all of it. I really appreciate you taking the time to play and giving the feedback!

Hello there! I wanted to try your game and downloaded it from Google Play. I really like the music and art design. The ui is very cute. I couldn't play the game though because of some sort of visual glitch. I have Sony Xperia XA1 Plus. Here is the screenshot. Just wanted to let you know this can happen in some devices. Dunno why...

Hey Furkan, thank you for your interest and your compliments! I'm truly sorry that you're unable to play our game :(

I actually made a post about this issue since some other users reported this exact problem.

Would it be safe to assume you're also using android 8.'?'?
