Unable to use TileMap and TileSheets

I'm following along with a course on Udemy and my tilemap inspector doesn't give me the same options as the instructor. It's the very beginning of the lesson, so not much has been made and I can't see what I'm doing wrong.

I have a 2d Node with a TileMap in that. I added my Tile.tres file to Tile Set in the inspector. When I click on Tiles.tres in the inspector, I'm supposed to get a lot more options. All I get are Resource and Reference with no options to actually do anything with the tilesheet. Can anyone help me?

The instructor is likely using a older version of godot. See if you can't click on the Tile.tres in the inspector to open it up.

Hey maniak. Yeah he's on 3.1 and I'm on 3.2. I'm unable to attach screenshots since I'm on Brave so I made an imgur post.

In the first screenshot, if I click on Tiles.tres it just says "No sub resource available." In the 2nd, screen shot, clicking on Tiles.tres takes me to the first screenshot. I'm trying to get the option shown in the third screenshot.

Looks about right to me. You'll need to edit your tilemap when that bottom pane is open, or maybe remove the one in there and add a new autotile or atlas in there depending on which your image is. Maybe the author went through it quick so you missed that step?

No, he's just on 3.1 and this section literally just started. I was able to get to a similar screen that I guess is labeled differently. But everything he's doing gives me different options. I'm just going to switch to youtube tutorials since I get more help from here than Udemy.

To be fair, when following a course you should probably be using the same version of the software for best results anyways.

Anyways, in that middle pane, press on the image thumbnail on the left side of the middle pane. then press edit, or if the edit button doesn't work yet you might have to first press one of the buttons on the right of it.

The extra things in the inspector will appear later.
