[solved] editor window at startup ?

Is there a way to have the editor window (not the project manager) start up in windowed mode ? Or, alternatively, have the editor window open up on my second monitor ? It is a bit annoying to have to un-maximize, drag the window to my 2nd monitor and maximize again (I'm looking at different projects) ...

I'm only using one monitor these days, but I'd be interested to know if you find a solution.

Alas, looking at 3.1 Editor Settings - window placement, there's only options for choosing where the run-time window gets placed when you hit run.

This will be supported once this pull request is merged. As a workaround, you can open a project in the editor from the command line and pass the --windowed command-line argument:

cd /path/to/project
# `/path/to/godot.exe -e -w` works as a shorthand.
/path/to/godot.exe --editor --windowed

@Calinou : Command line works just like you said (just a bit awkward for quickly switching between projects). The pull request merge is for Godot 4.0, I think. So still a little wait ... :)
