Since both work well for me, I want to start by giving a little insight in what the difference between the two seem to be.
There's one major difference between the two providers that is rather perplexing to me, and that is while Calinou's builds are a tidy 58 megabytes. Fire's builds are 4 times that size at over 200 megs. In addition, I don't know what is going on, but GDscript in Calinou's builds seem to have fewer issues overall in the area of auto-completion. The big question for me is how there could be such a great discrepancy in the size of the Godot executable, as I can't think of anything major being added compared to a plain build of the master branch.
