MungMoong I do not know what this error means and why If you reboot the program again, it will be fixed, but sometimes it can not be saved Sometimes when you delete a file in the editor, the engine is shut down. The file remains untouched
TwistedTwigleg Yeah, I get this issue sometimes too. I have no idea what the cause could be, it just randomly happens at times. Running Godot as an administrator generally fixes it for me, or just relaunching Godot.
kryzmak Maybe some kind of Windows issue (shadow copy or some other filesystem action?)? On Linux never had anything like this (not working as root/admin, only user permissions)
Calinou See this issue on GitHub about possible solutions. Also, this problem only occurs on Windows.

On Linux never had anything like this (not working as root/admin, only user permissions) Thinking about it, I do not think I had any issues with file permissions when I was using Linux primarily either, and I do not recall having any issues when I've occasionally used Godot and a Mac. I think you are probably right and the issue is something Windows related. I'm not sure if it is a bug on Godot's side, or (sadly, more likely) something Windows is doing.
Ace_Dragon Another possible culprit people have pointed to is an overly-paranoid anti-virus program. They can actually cause software to not run correctly because they interfere with the process to make sure it isn't a virus. Anyway, I'm on a fairly recent build of Godot on Win10 Pro April edition and AVG, the error hasn't been a major issue (for me anyway) for a while now.
