I am just a little confused, why the Godot website has two different forums? We have this one as well as https://godotengine.org/qa/

Which ones are monitored or more active. Do I need to post this question on the other one as well

The Godot Q&A is a specialized site designed for asking questions related to doing things in Godot, it doesn't have the versatility that this forum has in terms of general discussion and in terms of showing projects.

The Godot QA is focused around asking questions and getting answers. The forums here are for anything Godot related, which can include questions, but can also include: Sharing projects and resources, general discussion about Godot, showing WIP projects and assets, sharing tips and tricks, and more.

This is the fundamental difference from the Godot QA. Here on the forums we can have discussions and questions, while the Godot QA is specific towards asking questions.

Well, because as far as I know, the Godot developer forums are technically the unofficial Godot forums. This is why on the community tab on the Godot engine website, the Godot developer forums are so far down on the list. I do not know how active the Godot QA is, as I rarely visit, so I cannot really say which is more monitored/active.

As for asking questions on both, I really do not know. Some people get annoyed with that kind of thing, as it results in duplicate answers and sometimes the poster only watches/updates one of the two posts. This leads to one (or more) of the posts having no solution and the user seemingly absent, while in reality they just found the answer somewhere else.

Personally I am not bothered by people posting the same question on multiple sites, as it is a good way to (potentially) get varied answers, but some people are bothered by this kind of thing.

I would say it really depends and there is no right answer when it comes to posting the same question on multiple websites, so I would do what you feel is best.

Well ok. Sounds like the rule of thumb is post where you like and if no answer post on the other. Finally in desperation post on github :)
