To be fair I have argued in his defense multiple times before and we have given him multiple chances over months(not just the last) but his demeanor never changed, with that said if he should contact us via email and make a strong case for himself clearly stating that he has thought about it and understands where he went wrong there is a reasonable chance we may be willing to reactivate his account and give him one more chance.
Yes, this is true. It had been going for quite a little while but really started to come to a head over the last month.
We don't like banning people, it really isn't a fun thing to do. None of us really wanted to ban him, which is why we kept issuing warnings instead. If he does indeed send us an email as Megalomaniak said, then it could end up being a different story.
I know I've sounded pretty blunt about this whole thing, but the reality is that we had given MagicLord plenty of chances to turn around, and he simply wasn't doing it, and finally resorted to using abusive language. In any other circumstance, I would have made the ban temporary (as was being discussed amongst us admins), but after his last post I decided that a permanent* one was the way to go, as he finally revealed his true colors. If he was willing to go down that path, there was no telling how he would respond to other users and I didn't want him to berate anyone else again.
*Permanent insofar that there is no set date for the ban to expire, not necessarily that we won't allow him back someday, but it must be through a process of appeal.
