JRPG godot game engine (project01) update.

hi,everyone!today i want to show you one my projects, a small traditional "JRPG". in the last 3 months and so i spent some quality time on youtube watching some of those japanese games.(i dont have game consoles anymore,god bless youtube for hd walkthroughs) i'm fascinated by the japanese talent out there,so decided to work on sth that looks like that. as always keep in mind that this is work in progress.:P

so this is a sneak peek.

look! godot running on an 10 year old potato(celeron3300/gt710) yeah i know >_> potato master race,oh yeahhh!! LOL

here some pics better quality.

i havent decided the final style yet,im have to chose between dragon quest 7,persona 4 or ninokuni(Ghibli) but i like how "im setsuna" looks and plays, this is not an easy choice.

its been a while since i play the final fantasy on my psx and chrono trigger but i still remember one or 2 things about roleplaying.

we see how this thing goes.

Looks great! I really like the style and textures, they really bring that RPG vibe :smile:

I also think the work is nice, and it also shows that Godot can run well with modern features on even a budget machine.

Get some serious gameplay going and it would be a nice project to promote Godot.

Hi,...it looks great...maybe the helmet...I do not know...it kind of feels like it does not fit the character...but it's just my personal feeling.

yes godot works great no crashes at all ,i tried to crashed it but i couldnt :o

well, ive been playing the alpha 3.1,its pretty fun play with the softbody, even though its still quite buggy :D setting the thing up is very tedious. :s

look its a chrismas tree ,nop its godot softbody!!! sweet baby jesus. :#

the future looks brilliant for godot!

Woow :smiley: This looks beautiful and after watching this, the Godot helm is something that I want irl now...

The helmet motif feels clearly inspired by the wild hunt to me. But with a bit of godot bot added in.

i checked them when looking for some helmet reference,they are badass. >:)
