Hi, I have been investigating Godot a bit this past week and I think it looks beautiful and has a bright future ahead of it.
I noticed that 3.0b was getting C# support, and I didnt think itd be too much of a stretch there if the community could
try to eventually add VB.Net support to the engine as well. I know its quite a busy request topic in Unity and as Godot
doesnt quite seem ready to compete on that level, I think all the people who wanted VB in Unity would easily flock here
and get Godot a much better 'leg in the race'.
I personally really like Unity but they refuse to support it and thats not the end of the world personally, as I am comfortable
using many different languages but I have an MMORPG engine base which currently supports some API I dont think is
user friendly and it was built in VB.net as a solid base for newbie game devs to make some still powerful games -- though
the graphics api im using isnt very helpful to make them grow as coders. Using another engine like Unity (Or hopefully Godot)
as a client backend to power everything would really eliminate a lot of the code complexity over what I currently have.
So with this post I just wanted to ask if VB.net is currently planned as a future addition or at the very least would be concidered
for it. I think it would be a great addition to Godots already powerful arsenal of tools and lang support :D
