More News Coming Soon
Prepare thyself, I swear this time I really will update this page! :D

Pitch:
It's simple; you are a robot named T with a need for some good ol' payback. What started as a simple discussion between you and the robot D turns sour when he decides to tear your head off! And now, he thinks that he's gonna get away with it. However, despite throwing every obstacle he can at you, D cannot escape the wrath of this headless robot's rampage!
What is This?
"Headless Robot Rampage" is a passion project that will act as a sort of landmark game for me. I hope it to be my first complete game in Godot, (not counting the Pong demo) and hopefully will be the first game that I release. The limited color used in assets is due to the fact that I am using the Nintendo Entertainment System's color pallet (shown below). I cannot promise much to come of this, but the game's story is incredibly personal to me; it is about something that you probably wouldn't expect from a retro-styled platformer.

Implemented Features (Old News):
-Built the first iteration of the "overheat" system
-Improved "level 1" (You can now actually platform through it)
-Figured out parallax scrolling! No more plain black backgrounds!
-Fullscreen! The game now runs in fullscreen everyone!
-Cut unnecessary designs/bloat for a more refined game (Like that cutscenes idea)
-Began implementing basic sound fx! Now there is more accompanying you than a silent void.
-Somewhat improved the character's jump (Still needs work)
-Implemented a startup animation for the title screen.
-A new enemy named "Rolando" was created
-Death was implemented
Changelog:
(Coming Soon.)
To-Do List:
-Music! Sounds! I need more! (And I need to get good at making them!)
-Finish refining character movement, including patch some bugs that result in getting stuck inside tiles (just today fixed this one!)
-Build several more levels once "level 1" is complete
-Work on the new enemies & their interactions
Original Post (So I that can remember just how far the project has come!):
Here it is! My new Godot project. The code is currently largely the same as the Dynamic Platformer Demo, but I am slowly morphing it into something new. I hope everyone enjoys the GIF!
There isn't much information on it yet, but soon I will be updating this page. I just had to make sure that I at least got this game online for others to see. Enjoy!
