  • TurboSquid just announced stemcells, what do you think about it.

In case you do not have the announcement, I will post it.

Model Standardization with StemCell Over 1,700 Models in 3 Months

Our goal is to make buying a stock 3D model as easy as buying a stock photo, and StemCell is our solution. As more and more experiences move to 3D, VR, and AR, it’s crucial to have a vast catalog of models ready for use in these new applications. Our StemCell process allows artists to build models in their favorite app, and for us to automatically deliver perfect conversions to 3ds Max, Maya, Cinema 4D, Unity, and Unreal.

After three months, we’re excited to already see over 1,700 StemCell models now available on TurboSquid! That means you’ve got 1,700+ of our most versatile models to choose from, with more getting published every day.

Check out a few of our recent favorite StemCell models and see what else is in our growing catalog!

Because they will export this into maya and max it will allow me to have better exposure. I can only wonder if they will include .dae and I also wonder how compatible it would be with godot.

I'd love to be able to extract meshes from UE4/Unity asset packages. There's so much good stuff out theres.

Not a big turbosquid fan, they are sharks that tend to take advantage of the content creators. There are better platforms where the content creators get a bigger cut.
