hello I read doc on room and portal in 3d doc
I have a hard time understanding the principle of the rooms. The room node is in reality empty and it must be added a mesh (cube test) or several: because according to what is said in the doc, "the mesh must be closed"; Does that mean that only one mesh of cube seen from the inside constitutes a mesh of room where it is necessary to make a mesh by wall, a mesh for the ceiling and a mesh for the floor? And in this case what does closed mesh mean?
My question is that at the base, a room is always a cube with its own dimensions and that it is connected to another room by a door a a corridor (which is nothing but a Cube with its own dimensions, and depending on how you interpret the room, modeling is possible directly in the godot ...
Another secondary question, is it possible to extrude a line 2D in mesh3d ?
thank to answers
