Need advice on distribution.

I have a little game built, but wondering if I can upload it somewhere so people can download it and play. I tried too post it up on my website "murderedcarrotproductions.wix but wix wont support zip files for public down loads.

You have some options for this, you can host and share your files on Google Drive or create a project page on itch.io for example :)

Itch is pretty convenient. It gives you a customizable "widget" with a download button that you can embed in your website and has an API for more complicated stuff if you really want to dive into it.

I'll give Itch a look and see if it suits me more than Wix does. If all else fails I can just do Google Drives on weekends. It would be like a Murdered Carrot Productions digital flea market.

Thanks, all done. I have many many many more down the line. I might use this as a way too retire. I figure, back in the day, old people would retire and make toys and sweaters too make an extra bit of cash, so why can't I make games for the masses, free and cheap ones, video games, board games, table top rpg games and fighting fantasy game books too fund my last quarter of life? I mean I'll never be a triple a developer but a cult fallowing suits me fine. Enough too keep me and my parents out of those horrible retirement homes.
