2d Charactor walking getting hung on random tiles

Hello new developer here and everything is going good, however my main player sprite is getting hung when walking on the grass tiles i made. I doubt its the collision box because he will be walking on the same set of tiles and just suddenly stop. When i move back or jump he can go over it no problem so any help will do thanks in advance.

The first thing I would check is to make sure the tiles are lined up exactly, so that there is no chance of one being slightly higher or lower than the other. To do this, make sure you have grid snapping enabled, and also show the grid so that you can make sure the tiles are lining up as they should.

What size tiles are you using?

If your player's collision is a rectangle it may randomly hang up on other rectangular objects even if they are perfectly aligned to be a flat surface. It's just how the physics works, since it's a perfect corner sometimes it thinks it hit the side plane. It should be easily fixed my making your player's collision a polygon with a beveled edge, or something round.

Fixed it by using a polygon and rounded out around the feet like you suggested.Thanks for the help guys
