I'm not sure if here is the right place to ask that, but do you guys know good books or sites for learning intermediate and advanced development specific to 3d games? If the basis are very clear to me, I feel like missing a lot of knowledge in some areas, like how people make special effects in games, level design or techniques for dynamic background music. The kind of thing that helps to make the difference between a bad boring game and an interesting one. What are your references?

You correctly posted this in the 3D section, kudos to that. But to try to increase the chances of this being answered I'm gonna move it to the 'general discussion' section, since it's a more general question about books an techniques used in the industry.

If you want more links and ideas:https://gamedev.stackexchange.com/questions/1265/must-read-game-development-bookshttps://www.amazon.com/Best-Sellers-Books-Game-Programming/zgbs/books/15375251Out of those books in the links, ones i've seen or heard are Game Engine Architecture and Beginning C++ Through Game Programming I believe. There are also engine specific books, like learn game dev with unity or game maker studio, but these are far more basic.I would take those books in the links and check out the amazon reviews, read online about them. Til you find something that seems appealing. Be aware that most good programming books, regardless of the topic will be daunting 1000 pagers.Good luck!
