Is making something rotate around something else possible?

Is making something rotate around something else possible in Godot? If yes, how do you do it?

Depends on what do you actually mean by that, the generic answer is certainly yes, though.For an example parenting one node to another and using the parent as the pivot to rotate around is probably one of the easiest examples.

Sorry, I was not totally clear. My fault =P.I mean making something rotate around something else and rotate on itself after I press a button so after a 360° it is in the same (relative) position as before.Like this http://postimg.org/image/4yj8s0th7/The circle is an avatar, so i should be able to move the circle with the racket beign in the same ( relative ) position  without it doing this http://postimg.org/image/5rsob74zf/and rotate only when i press a button.

if understand that first image right, you basically want something similar to how the moon falls around the earth, i.e. the moon is tidally locked to earth, the same side always facing it?However you also want to be able to move the central piece without it affecting the satellite's rotation?The good news is that yeah, that is doable, however before I can help any further I'd need to know: 2D or 3D?
