[changed title] LineEdit-Label embezzling last digit when right aligned

Hi, am reading numbers from nodes and presenting them in labels in a panel. str() does not work as expected, var2str() converts but seems to drop the decimals on the right of the point. But it does add a decimal point to every number ... That a bug or just me ? pls. see example: weight should be 9.8, not 9. http://picload.org/image/rgrlcdar/bildschirmfoto-15.04.2016-1617.png

What do you expect how str() works?If I do Label.set_text(str(9.8)) the Label's text say "9.8", which is exactly what I expected.

Yep, for me it does work too, in another panel which uses labels just for display.Seems to be the alignment of the LineEdit-label, not the str or var2str method. When it's set to right the last digit is not displayed (it's there). When it's set to left it works as we both might expect ...Thanks danjo.

Should have done that in the first place ... it's documented as an issue ...
