EDIT: solved by making my character's vertical speed match the gravity whenever it bumped the ceiling<br /><br />Whenever the player in my platformer jumps into a ceiling, they get stuck and glitchily jump really high when they move off of it<br />Does anybody have any idea why this is happening?<br />(probably would have just used the demo's kinematic char engine but I'm not sure of the licensing on those and don't want to have to rely on it every time)<br /><br />I have attached the project file to my post do if any of you are up to examining the source code it would be a big help!<br /><br />ps. the placeholder graphics have random purile messages, don't get too triggered<br />
