Awesome project, the art style is very nice. My suggestion is change the text font of the UI. Instead of pixelated, a "pencil draw" font would work better with your art style, like de font you use in the "Bar" letters.  :)

Made a small intro and changed the starting point. Obviously, the char clothes in the intro changes as you select your clothes in the room. <img alt="" src="https://media.giphy.com/media/l2Sq0NIhmH4Tl0Ody/giphy.gif" title="Image: https://media.giphy.com/media/l2Sq0NIhmH4Tl0Ody/giphy.gif"> This is the intro. It is not all of it (there is an outside part which is basically he falling into the ground. <img src="https://media.giphy.com/media/l3vRoeUJC18u4hiSI/giphy.gif" alt=""> This is how the race begins. The char here is with different clothes just because both gifs where made in different occasion.  The plan is to make slightly different intros (the first gif) for the races + one intro for "entering the house" and for finishing the race.
