3d environment with Godot

My first 3d environment fourth days of use this great engine-simple landscape-lowpoly + skybox-directional light + fog+FPS camera. Gradually, how will grow my knowledge in controlling engine, so I will improve level/scenes. Thanks, I have to refine the terrain-detailed texture and normal map, add rocks,trees,grassetc.Now Im working on buildings until the level is full and nice, so Ill somehow available on download.But nice assets requires timeI work hard:-)now Im doing something like a stand of goods. All models/assets will be available to the Godot community for free.

Thanks so much :-), I still have what to improve.The idea is that this will be a small level of Gothic style-the middle ages, the Castle,market,etc will be there, then I will sculpt/model some characters. Here is my blog [[http://ms3d2dart.blogspot.com/]]

Yes, it is a good idea, my goal is the quality of the models as in the Gothic3. So a lot of work :-) Ill do it.

Thanks, they do the shadows :-) I dont have them set correctly yet. Its just a quick test.

Well, so far the biggest problem for the larger 3d environments in Godot are those shadows definitely need to improve, I have tried various settings but they didnt look goodbut I use a Godot just a few days, so I have to learn. Yes, the new home page for Godot engine looks pretty good, I think that will be the new site for the users- like Godotartists.org??, so we have to wait :-)

Hi, I've been noticing your attempt to create nice looking terrains. I think you could find a use for my terrain shader [url=http://forum.godotdevelopers.org/index.php?topic=15383.0]shown here[/url] (providing you are not already using something similar that is).The advantage would be that you can then just tile the terrain textures as you would with any piece of level geometry, giving a much higher visual fidelity and a more potent advertising point for Godot.

That was not the Frog island so lonesome, I start work on a small Dragon-the population around the island and an avid eater of the frogs :).
