Tree Leaves disappear in a distance without have distance or proximity fade on.

I have a tree that has leaves that show up close to it and go away, when you go far from it, can anyone help me on this one? Here are some pictures

I think it is probably because of how small the leaves are on the tree when viewed from a distance. Maybe try disabling the mipmaps on the texture and see if that helps? You can disable mipmaps by selecting the texture, going to the import tab, and unchecking a box that says something like Generate Mipmaps. I would try that and see if it helps.

Just so you know why this happens, it's because of the way the alpha component of the texture is generated in mipmaps.
In each iteration of the texture's mipmaps, the alpha values in the pixels get averaged out. This can lead to the alpha getting more and more transparent, causing more parts of it to fall below the alpha threshold and slowly disappear with distance.

Thanks Slsilicon28 I did not know that, but it makes more sense why I had to turn mipmaps off for the leaves now. :)
