Am I allowed to bump a question thread if it never got a response?

I posted a question thread (that was admittedly pretty long) about a week ago and never got an answer for it. Am I allowed to bump the thread in hopes of getting a response or no?

Sure, I see no problem with it. As long as the bump frequency isn’t too often (so it’s not spam) then it’s fine with me. :)

Preferably, the bump post be something more than just “bump”, as it can potentially be used to help with the discussion in some way, but this is by no means required nor a rule.

Bump with additional info & clarify the question if you can.

Sometimes rephrasing a question can also help get more/better feedback. That can be a good bump as well.
