Properly Importing an Updated .glb Asset into an Already Created Inherited Scene

When I import a .glb asset, I have to double click on it and select New Inherited to create the scene; however, I'm in a situation where I would later have a more updated version of the .glb, but I am forced to do the same process again. Double-clicking and creating a new scene through New Inherited. Is there a way for me to update the inherited scene with my newer .glb file?
