run master branch with opengl instead of vulkan

question:

There is a way to launch the editor of the master branch on GLES instead that on vulkan?

reason:

I have a desktop computer with vulkan support but I don't have access to it all the day.
When I can't use it, I can still use my laptop but it doesn't support vulkan.
I would like to work on the source code for as much time as possible but without testing the changes I make is impossible to do it on my laptop

Platform:

OS: Ubuntu 18.04 (linuxbsd)
Laptop: Fujitsu E780
Processor: Intel core i5 (Arrandale)
GPU: Intel HD graphics

As far as I know, the master branch of Godot on Github only supports Vulkan as a rendering backend. There are plans to incorporate an OpenGL-based renderer, but I do not think is implemented yet.

Once software implementations of Vulkan become viable (it isn't really the case as of July 2020), you'll be able to test Vulkan changes without a Vulkan-compatible GPU.
