Dear Forum Admins, please make this Dangerous Link Unclickable (EDIT: Nevermind)

The following only makes sense if you consider that there's no Preview Function in Private Messages Conversations as of the time of the start of this discussion.
I have sent these Messages in a Private Messages Conversation:

Right now, I'm working on the Volume Controls.

I haven't exported the game yet because it's still in Development, but you can clone the Godot Project:
github.com/sosasees/flinkimaus

I just realized I need to add the https://www. part to the link.
I assumed it'd just be clickable without it, but I was wrong.

This link ( github.com/sosasees/flinkimaus ) only becomes clickable if I do this in Markdown:

[github.com/sosasees/flinkimaus](https://www.github.com/sosasees/flinkimaus)

I just realized that https://www is a clickable link.
Please don't click on it as my Firefox Web Browser showed an error screen that it's an insecure website.
In the meanwhile I'll report this to the Godot Forums Admins.

So, Dear Forum Admins,
please make all instances of https://www on this forum unclickable.

These are all the Forum Admin Usernames who commented at least once on my questions:
@Megalomaniak @TwistedTwigleg
I've added them so that it's more likely that they'll see this question.

When creating a url link I'd recommend dropping the https: part. by making it //www.github.com if their servers support it a browser will automatically try for the secure http first, and fall back to normal http otherwise.

But I agree it is a bit awkward that the conversations module doesn't support some of the features of the discussions module.

Feature parity is probably a worthwhile feature request to make to vanilla developers though.

I’m not sure we can, not easily and without a plugin or otherwise modifying Vanilla. Additionally, since this is the beginning of almost every link, we’d need to make sure any modifications we make do not affect actual links to websites.

That said, at least on iOS, the address of https:// does not go anywhere, giving a “server not found” error, so it shouldn’t do anything even if clicked.

I just tried going to https://, and on Firefox (for Linux), it just leads to the
Search Results for https:// (I can't create a Link that always goes to your chosen search engine no matter what search engine you chose, but this should give you the idea) .

I just risked actually going to https://www , but then it was just my
    Internet Router Configuration Page.
Now I have even less of an idea why Firefox showed me this ,,⚠ Possible Security Risk" error message.

My guess is that Firefox is trying to help because links that are short like that sometimes point to dangerous sites. Additionally, Firefox probably recognized that it is an unusual link and would warn for that reason as well.

Regardless, I’m glad it doesn’t seem to be an issue

Now this is solved. https://www was just a false positive.
It seems we didn't need to make this Link unclickable after all. =D
