Extract animations by frame range

Hi,

I have some models that I purchased from an asset site, they come with animations that are designated by frame range e.g idle 100-500.

When these models are imported into Godot they appear under a single animation, I want to extract the segments and create new animations from a set of frame ranges. I have absolutely no idea how to do this, any help would be great.

I know I can drag select the keyframes, the problem with this is that the scale only shows FPS and Seconds, none of which allow me to accurately select the frames perfectly.

So in essence, how would I select frames 100 to 500 accurately from an existing animation, then create a new animation from them.

Thank you in advance

I used to do it this way, but I think it's a lot better to do it in blender(or whatever 3D software you use). In blender, you can duplicate the animation in the action editor, then remove everything except that particular animation.

This has been a while, life takes over sometimes.

Anyway, for anybody that is interested, in the import tab you can add x number of clips then set the name, loop, start and end frames for each clip. When you import the model it will generate the clips as animations for you.
