How to make a screen for runtime errors
I know Godot doesn't really support throwing errors, however my game sports a certain amount of modding through use of configuration files and I want everything to abruptly stop as early as possible if something is badly configured. Especially during the loading screen.
In most software development I'm experienced with you would simply throw an error. In Godot I feel like I need to perhaps emit an error signal... Easier might be an error scene and just open that.
Are there any tutorials that suggest ways of halting the entire game and displaying an error to the user.
