Aquay: The Sanctuary
This was my entry for Adventure Jam 2018, an annual game jam held by Cassie Benter & Stacy Davidson on GameJolt. You can find more info about it here: jams.gamejolt.io/advjam2018
Aquay is an Oregon Trail homage, set in a near-future wherein humanity has been enslaved by aliens. You decide the fate of a group of escaped slaves as they make their way across the Aquay, a gigantic underwater tunnel system connecting North America and Europe. Years of decay and a lack of upkeep have left the thing extremely dangerous to explore, so you'll have to rely on the skills and wits of your party to survive.
This game was made in a mere two weeks, even less as I work a full-time 9-to-5 on top of that. Even more, this was my first game made with Godot, and my first-ever finished and published game. I ran out of time to incorporate a few things I wanted to incorporate, such as party member models and more intricate uses of inventory items.
