Not open source, but i like it too to have multiple 3D scenes at the same time, like in blender almost.
Other UI changes i didnt like, i just want to be able to open up multiple scenes and work that way. 😃

Where is that guy from middle east who never made a PR? maybe he can do it? And maybe he could finally make a PR to the engine, or just maybe make a gd extension or something...

Well, I gave it a try, and I can't say I'm wildly enthusiastic about it. I'll keep working with it and see how it goes, but the windows take up too much space to have them all open at once, and it's not really necessary for actual work. Maybe when I get around to connecting my 42" OLED TV as a monitor, it'll be worth it.

I suppose that if a scene is instanced as a component in a main scene, then you could make changes in the component scene view and observe the effects in the main scene view, without having to switch back and forth between the scenes.

yes this is what i wanted to have. Becuse constantly opening scenes it unloads and loads and sometimes somethng gets messed up during load and need to reload project when you switch scenes fast.

This long typographical dash (Dash) was invented long before AI came along. Back in the wild cave days, when it wasn’t yet part of the computer character set, that’s exactly how it was represented --.

Well, yeah, maybe, probably. But you’d need a very large monitor — or several — to examine multiple scenes in detail. It’s a very special case. But I’ll give it a try.

You can keep the scene open in a separate tab. Usually, you don’t need to reload it. But sometimes, in certain cases, if you really need to, you can reload a single scene instead of the entire project. You’re describing a very specific situation. I haven’t observed anything like that myself. Could this be a Linux issue?

I haven't encountered this on my Win.

It would be more interesting if there were an option to split a single scene into different views across separate windows (splitting the main window) — on another monitor, for example. But I haven't seen that option yet.

In the old version of Godot, there was a plugin that allowed you to do that.

I’ve been tinkering with this a bit — it’s still very rough around the edges. It’s not ready for production.
